"Rosupack" is the largest scale exhibition for the packaging industry not only in Russia, but throughout Eastern Europe as well. The exhibition represents all segments of the industry: packaging machinery and technology, food and processing equipment, equipment for package manufacture and design, packaging materials, packaging and finished packages for all industries.

Every year, more than 700 exhibitors from 30 countries present to industry professionals and the public packaging machinery and technology, food and processing equipment, manufacturing and packaging design equipment, packaging materials, and readymade packaging for every industry in an area of 28,000m2. More than 15,000 visitors from 50 countries and throughout Russia come to the show to choose suppliers and sign contracts.

At the end of last year, MVK became part of ITE Group, a major international exhibition company. As part of the integration, a programme for the development of MVK’s exhibitions is being implemented, during which it is planned to:

• * Expand the international component of the exhibitions - increase the participation of international companies and attract foreign visitors;
• * Increase promotional activity in the Russian regions, including a rebranding of the exhibition in line with international standards;
• * Raise the level of service for exhibitors and visitors.

As part of the development programme a partnership agreement has been signed with VVC, according to which Rosupack 2012, the 17th International Specialised Exhibition of the Packaging Industry, will take place in the new modern pavilion 75 at VVC.
