Belarus’ international technical cooperation program adopted
MINSK, (BelTA) – The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus (Resolution No.411) approved the national program for international technical cooperation for 2012-2016, BelTA learnt from the PR Department of the Economy Ministry.
The national program for international technical cooperation spells out the current and long-range requirements of the Republic of Belarus in international technical assistance and outlines the national priorities in international cooperation.
The program consists of 114 draft proposals and descriptions of projects (programs) of international technical aid. Among the priorities in international technical cooperation for 2012-2016 are development of human potential, initiative and entrepreneurship ($51.6 million), efficient public administration and improvement of quality of state services ($320.7 million), environmental capacity ($35.2 million) and regional development ($4 million).
