May turnover at Belarus’ OTC market up 70% to $2.735 tln
MINSK, – PRIME-TASS. The total value of transactions with Belarusian companies securities on the kerb market reached the point of $2.735 trillion ($326 million at the NBB rate) in May 2012, up 70% on the month, the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE) said in a press-release.
The over-the-counter market saw 1,485 transactions settled in May 2012 to compare with 1,647 in April 2012.
The most active operators on the OTC market in terms of stock turnover in May 2012 were (from top to bottom): Belarusbank, BPS-Sberbank, Bank BelVEB, Belagroprombank and Belinvestbank.
In terms of the number of deals last month’s leaders were ZAO MTG Grodno, Interregional Clearing Centre, BPS-Sberbank, Belarusbank, Paternus Aer Ltd.
The largest number of transactions in May 2012 was made with shares of OAO Vishnevka-2010 (64.68% of the total value of transactions with OAO shares), followed by OAO Skidel Agriculture Enterprise (33.33%). |
