China to sponsor Bobruisk-Zhlobin highway reconstruction
MINSK, (BelTA) – The China Exim Bank is expected to provide a $344-million loan to reconstruct the Bobruisk-Zhlobin road section of M-5/E 271 Minsk-Gomel highway, according to Council of Ministers Resolution No. 549 of 13 June 2012 posted on the national legal internet portal.
Under the document, the project will make part of the list of investment projects financed by foreign loans under the guarantees of the Belarusian government.
Technological equipment for the project worth of $30 million is exempted from customs duties and import VAT.
The China Exim Bank has earlier provided a loan of $340 million for the reconstruction of the Zhlobin-Gomel section. |
