Customs Union: Belarus okays register of 43 high commodity positions
MINSK, PRIME-TASS. The government of Belarus has approved a register of high-tech commodities, which includes 43 positions, the government’s press-service informed.
The register includes equipment for television and radio broadcasting, engines compliant with Euro-4 and Euro-5 standards, boring equipment, sound recording equipment, digital cameras, integral boards, Euro-4 cargo vehicles, laser equipment and ultrasound scanners.
According to the Tax Code of Belarus, if a production company’s proceeds from high-tech commodities exceed 50% of total proceeds, the company is exempt from the profit tax.
