Belarus invited to partake in China-Eurasia EXPO
MINSK, (BelTA) – China invites Belarus to partake in the second China-Eurasia EXPO which is due to take place in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China on 1-5 September 2012, deputy head of the executive committee of the exhibition He Ruoqun stated in Minsk on 29 June.
According to the Chinese guest, invited to partake in the event have already been the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Asian Development Bank, economic, trade and industrial departments for trade and investment assistance of Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran and Turkey. Partaking in the expo will be the Chinese authorities, top officials of other countries.
China-Eurasia Expo is one of international universal exhibitions which cover many sectors: trade in goods and services, investment cooperation, cultural exchange, thematic forums and conferences. The exposition will demonstrate the latest achievements in social and economic development of China and neighboring countries.
The program of the exhibition will include the forum of China-Eurasia economic cooperation and development, a business day of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, a week of Chinese and foreign cultures, and a Central Asian music day.
The organizers of the China-Eurasia EXPO are the government of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, Xinjiang Manufacturing and Construction Corps and 27 ministries and state organizations. Co-organizers are the governments of 22 provinces and cities such as Shanghai, Beijing, Jiangsu.
