Belarus to take part in exhibition of innovations in Yekaterinburg
Belarus will present its latest R&D products in economy, science and technology and innovations at Russia’s largest exhibition of innovations INNOPROM-2012 in Yekaterinburg, BELTA learnt from Pavel Zhukovsky, the head of the department of exhibition activities and regional cooperation at the Trade Ministry.
Visitors of the national exposition will also be able to see the latest innovative offerings of Belarusian scientists, the mechanical engineering and instrument making industries. MAZ, Amkodor and Pozhsnab will showcase their equipment in the open-air exhibition. In addition, project presentations will be made by Agat-Management Systems (integrated management systems) and Integral (new technologies).
The Third Ural International Exhibition and Forum of Industry and Innovations INNOPROM-2012 in Yekaterinburg will be running from 12 to 15 July. The opening ceremony is expected to be attended by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Chairwoman of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko, Governor of Sverdlovsk Oblast Evgeny Kuivashev.
The theme of this exhibition “Human Technology: We Design and Build the Future." According to the organizers, the exhibition stresses that economic growth is not an end in itself, that investment, innovation, modernization of industry and infrastructure are needed primarily to improve the quality of life.
