Belarus, Myanmar to sign agreement on cooperation in science
Belarus and Myanmar will sign an agreement on cooperation in science and technologies, the press service of the Belarusian government told BelTA while commenting on Resolution No.678 of 25 July 2012 which is to make the basis for negotiations on the draft agreement.
The agreement will be signed to develop the relevant framework for sci-tech cooperation between Belarus and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
The resolution was adopted after the visit of Belarus’ governmental delegation led by Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on 1-3 December 2011. The State Science and Technology Committee of Belarus held negotiations with the Ministry of Science and Technologies of Myanmar during which the sides decided to sign an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in science and technologies in 2012. The sides also coordinated a list of projects for joint implementation in the sci-tech area.
