Kobrin Dairy Mill announces tender to buy EUR10m cheese production equipment
Belarus’ OAO Kobrin Butter and Cheese Factory (Brest Region) has announced a tender to choose the supplier of automated dairy production equipment capable of producing 30 tonnes of cheese a day.
The factory is ready to invest in the new equipment up to 10 million euros.
The enterprise plans to finalize the purchase in the period from September 14 till December 31, 2012. A new workshop to accommodate the new equipment will be built in 2013.
At the moment, OAO Kobrin Butter and Cheese Factory produces 5 tonnes of cheese a day.
OAO Kobrin Butter and Cheese was established in 1939. The company produces over 150 product titles. 70% of cheese produced in Kobrin is exported to Russia.
