China to partake in construction of trade and logistics center in Grodno
A Chinese investor is interested in taking part in the construction of a trade and logistics center near the airport in Grodno, BelTA learnt from deputy head of the FEZ Grodnoinvest Dmitry Rozhkov.
The project includes the construction of a logistics center of the international level and a factory to assemble Chinese goods for further sales in the EU countries.
A delegation of one of China’s large companies (Sinohydro Corporation Ltd.) led by the Director General has recently paid a visit to the free economic zone. The guests saw the airport, production facilities and land plots of Grodnoinvest including the Augustow Canal tourist park.
According to Dmitry Rozhkov, the parties are in talks over the project.
Sinohydro Corporation Ltd is a multinational corporation engaged in construction, engineering and design works at hydrotechnical and hydroelectrical facilities of China and abroad. The corporation is also involved in the construction of transport infrastructure, houses and urban utilities. Sinohydro is implementing over 200 projects in 56 countries.
