Belarus raises lease fees for land plots with unfinished buildings
The annual rates of lease payments for land plots with unfinished buildings (except for official suspended construction sites) will double in Belarus following the president’s ordinance #312 of July 11, 2012.
The ordinance enabled administrations of free economic areas (FEAs) to raise (reduce) annual rates of lease payments for land plots located within FEA limits.
Also, the ordinance introduces a soft income tax of 10% for technological parks and residents of technology parks, provided they specialize in creating and promoting innovations.
The ordinance exempts taxpayers with near-zero emissions from the ecological tax, introduces an income tax for individuals, who receive money incomes from transactions with bonds and securities.
