Belarus’ soft drink output down in Jan-Jun 2012
Belarus’ output of soft drinks and mineral water decreased in January-July 2012 in comparison with the level of January-May 2011, Belarus’ national statistic committee said in a report.
Mineral water output in January-June fell 12.6% on the year to 13.206 million dal, while the output of soft beverages edged down 4.2% to 21.8 million dal.
In June alone mineral water output totalled 2.646 million dal, down 26.9% on year and down 29% on month. The output of soft beverages totalled 4.8 million dal in June, down 16.2% on year and 20.3% on month.
Inventories of soft drinks were at 2.8 million decaliters as of July 1, 2012, 78.7% of the average monthly output, up 7.1% on month.
Inventories of mineral water were at 1.233 million dal as of July 1, 2012, 56% of the average monthly output, up 61.2% on month.
