Brazil seeks partners in Peru for health sector business
LIMA, Sept 23 (NNN-ANDINA) - A trade mission of 16 Brazilian companies will be in Peru for the Brazil-Peru business round table of medical and dental care equipment on Mon Sept 27.
The Brazilian Medical Devices Manufacturers Association (Abimo) goal searching for Peruvian partners in the health sector, said the mission coordinator Tarso Evangelista.
Peru is the eighth most important country for the medical and dental care industry and its position is expected to improve in the comming years, he said.
“Peru has become one of the main countries in the region providing qualified health services at competitive prices. Brazil's industry can help to better supply the increasing demand for equipment with new trade agreements,” Evangelista said.
The 16 companies associated to Abimo are expected to contact around 60 Peruvian companies and close businesses worth US$900,000.
Brazilian companies participating in the business roundtable export products to more than 30 countries in Europe and Latin America.
