Azerbaijan fruit and nut crop areas have constantly been rising. Since 2005 average growth rates have made 3-5%. In 2009 crop areas amounted to 124.3 thousand ha that was by 4.3% up compared to 2008. Inter-temporal changes of crop areas are shown in Fig. 1.

The number of companies in this sector increased by 9 (1 – state-run enterprise, 8 – private companies), as compared to 2008. Moreover, this field of production numbered 725 private entrepreneurs, showing a growth of 85 persons against 2008.

In 2009 China furniture export was down 6% from the previous year, to USD 25.96 billion. In 2008 it was USD 27.61 billion. As compared with 2005 China furniture export grew 88.5%.
