The major share in the total production pattern belongs to wheeled tractors (see Fig. 1). Thus, according to the Federal State Statistics Service of the RF (hereafter FSSS RF), in the 1st half-year of 2006 wheeled tractor production made 3.65 thous. pcs, whereas track-type tractors amounted to 1.4 thous.

According to the “AUTOSTAT”, 2782000 vehicles were sold in the Russian auto-market in 2007. The total amount of sold vehicles reached the value of $53.4 billion. This figure includes 752 thousand home-made vehicles for the amount of $6.16 billion, 1.65 million new imported vehicles for the amount of $40.4 billion and 380 thousand used imported vehicles for the amount of $6.8 billion.
