    10.12.2009 The market of grain and leguminous cultures of the Gomel region in 2009
    In the structure of manufacture of grain and leguminous cultures of the Gomel region the basic share is occupied by winter rye, triticale, grain maize. In 2009 by the agricultural organisations of the region were collected 1 106,5 thousand tons of grain and leguminous cultures (without corn) in the originally received weight that makes 104% to 2008, including about 65 thousand tons of leguminous cultures.

    In the structure of grain and leguminous crops the main part is occupied by the triticale, barley, wheat. In 2008 crop area increased up 14 thousand hectares in comparison with the previous year and made up 381thousand hectares. From them 106 thousand hectares fall at triticale, 92 thousand hectares - barley, 79.7 thousand hectares - wheat. In comparison with 2007 oats, barley and rye area reduced.
