Currently, the structure of the oblast’ industrial complex numbers some 200 industrial enterprises, joint-stock companies and associations. The largest industrial centers are Mogilev, Bobruisk, Kritchev, Kostukovichi, Osipovichi. The key industrial sectors remain chemical and petrochemical industries.

Among the largest enterprises of the Grodno region are UE «Grodnopishcheprom», JSC «Lidskoe beer», RUE «Grodno distillery «Nemanoff», JSC «Grodno dairy plant» («Molochniy mir (Dairy world)»), Volkovyssk JSC «Bellakt», JSC «Grodno meat-packing plant», JSC «Lida dairy plant», Open Society «Slonim meat-packing plant», JSC «Shchuchin creamery», JSC «Novogrudok butter combine», JSC «Smorgon meat-packing plant» and others.

Over three hundred of the large and average industrial enterprises function, the share of which in the volume of industrial production of the country makes about 20 on the territory of Gomel region %. According to the Ministry of statistics and analysis of Belarus, the index of total amount of an industrial output across Gomel region made 106 % in 2007 in relation to 2006.
