    The largest innovative active enterprise of Mogilev region is OAO (JSC) Mogilevhimvolokno. The enterprise produces dimethylterephthalate, polyethylene terephthalate, polyester fiber and tows, polyester filament, polyester composite materials, etc. The goods produced by the enterprise are marketable in Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Federal Republic of Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, China and other countries.

    15.02.2010 Review of the transport industry in Grodno oblast
    According to the Main Statistics Department of Grodno oblast, at the end of 2008 route miles of general purpose amounted to 648.7 km, 22.6 km of which are electricified railways of general purpose. Grodno oblast's highways of general purpose totaled 12,909 km, 11,742 km of them are hard-coated. Route miles of tram lines (in two-way terms) totaled 40.6 km at the end of 2008.

    06.10.2009 External Trade in Services in Mogilev Oblast, I half-year 2009
    Following the results of the first half-year of 2009, service exports in terms of value in actual prices decreased 17.2%, whereas imports grew 21.3% as compared to the first half-year of 2008. Balance of external trade showed a surplus having amounted to 5 mln. USD.
