The Council has a requirement for the supply of Network servers, cables and cabinets which are compatible with the Councils current technical infrastructure. The Council is seeking responses from suitably qualified and competent companies that can provide the hardware and software for this solution.
The Contract is a call off arrangement subject to individual quotations.

The Council will accept tenders from individual undertakings or consortia. A consortium bid may be acceptable but the Council reserves the right to require a single/lead contractor to take primary liability or to require that each member of a consortium provides joint and several liability. Sub-contracting may be permitted but sub-contractors must comply with the same exclusion criteria as tenderers.

1. The contract to be entered into shall be considered as a contract made in English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
2. The Council reserves the right not to enter into any agreement or award any contract as a result of this notice and to vary or change or not to proceed with this competition at any stage of the procurement process. In addition they shall not in any event be responsible for any costs incurred by any candidates responding to this notice.
3. Candidates should note that the Council is subject to the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (the regulations). This means that information may be subject to disclosure to the public unless an exemption applies. This includes such things as (not exclusively):
Information in any document submitted to the Council;
Information in any contract to which the Council is a party;
Information about costs, including invoices submitted to the Council; and.
Correspondence and other papers.
In the event that a candidate considers that any information supplied by it is either commercially sensitive or confidential in nature, this should be specifically highlighted with the reasons for its sensitivity given and an explanation of the grounds for exempting that information from disclosure.
