Emergency lighting equipment. The Authority has an Urgent Operational Requirement for the manufacture and supply of an emergency lighting system for various types of military vehicles. When the system is activated it shall illuminate the egress points of the vehicle so as to aid the occupants in emergency egress situations. The system shall operate should the vehicle roll over, become submerged in water or be subjected to the rapid accelerations normally associated with explosions. Expressions of Interest are now invited from companies who are able to provide compliant proven equipment within the timescales outlined in this advert. The Authority are willing to accept the receipt of promotional material, details of previous experience, qualifications or standards achieved and any relevant testing data within your expression of interest. Due to the short timescales involved in this UOR, late expressions of interest will not be considered. The request for expressions of interest should not be construed as confirmation that a tender/contract will subsequently be issued. Any expenditure, work or effort undertaken prior to contract award is accordingly a matter solely for the commercial judgement of potential suppliers.
